Wall paneling was used here to cover over the brick surface left after the door was moved forward utilizing the porch space. Push open doors x2 were also fitted to gain access to the electrical boxes.
Wall panelling made from mdf sheeting with the v-groove spaced at 150mm centers. This wall has also been built using calibel acoustical board, beneath the finish panelling, to sound proof the bedroom from a poorly insulated party wall.

The living room wall was finished in mdf v-groove panelling. Made onsite, this mdf wall panelling is also the second layer to a new studwall partition, built 10mm from the existing party wall, to soundproof the living room wall because of a poorly insulated party wall.
This is the wall paneling being fixed to the soundproof wall. The services needed to be extended, radiator, electrical sockets and phone jack/wifi.
