The glazed double doors were installed using 4 inch rising butt hinges. The concrete beneath the new floors was 15mm off level from door style to door style. The rising butt hinges lift the door as it opens, compensating for the badly poured concrete(not done by us!).
This is an arch of a railway bridge which was originally secured with corrigated metal gates. We built the wall up to the existing sheetmetal top, installed two reinforced steel joists to carry the weight of the wall above both doorways. After final measurements were taken,the new security doors were manufactured and installed.
The glazed double doors with side panels were made to order, then fitted. They work well maintaining an open space on the ground floor of this house.
This is a red deal door made for exterior use, the glass is double glazed, and they come in all standard sizes.
These oak double doors were made to order and fitted. The oak frames have been made to accomadate a thick wall 12 inches deep.
