This side passage lean to looks as if it grew there. The original black door and surround were kept, the new polycarbonate roof and gutter were merged to them.

Inside of the lean to, a couple of half length shelves have been added. All the timber used throughout the build is pressure treated, preventing the structure from decay and insect infestation.

The back of the side passage lean to finishes flush with the house allowing the rainwater to easily channel to the original down pipe of the house. The doors are made on site, widths vary depending on what is needed.

The side passage lean to is over eight meters in length. The gutter is recessed, so it does not extend over the properties boundary line. A considerable amount of work is required to gain a finish as tidy as this. I believe this area needs to look really well, to be considerate towards ones neighbors.
