This lean to side of house structure was built to serve as a studio for home projects. This house has great space with the side passage along side the estates boundary. The space tapers from 4 meters at the front, too 1.5 meters at the rear.

The 16mm treble wall polycarbonate sheathed roof, offers great natural light with insulation properties. This product is ideal for this kind of structure, the finish is very tidy for both parties, the customer and their neighbors. A full length gutter is fitted along the roof edge, directing the rainwater to the closest drain, or down pipe. As a priority this gutter does not extend beyond the boundary line of the property.

The trees above roof level were cut back to the boundary line, to relieve the roof of some of the fall come Autumn. The concrete path needed a couple of areas prepared and filled with concrete.

This is the finished structure, the concrete is still wet. Insulation and shelving could be added to the framed walls if required.

This is the rear of the structure leading out to the garden. The down pipe has a few meters to run before intersecting houses existing down pipe.

The driveway slopes down towards the new structure which is a problem in regards to rainwater accumulating within the structure. A concrete channel was formed across the driveway, dispersing into a nearby shore.
